What are the Venice Water Bus Operating Hours?

The Vaporetti has 23 different lines and the timings vary for each route. The main route operates from 5 AM to midnight, while the night lines run from 11:30 PM to 5 AM. During high tide, service is limited.

Starts at the Rialto Bridge and terminates at St. Marks Square, stopping at the central station Santa Lucia, Piazzale Roma, Tronchetto, and Island Giudecca along the way.
The Vaporetto runs from 5 AM until midnight, with a bus leaving every 12 minutes.

An express line between Piazzale Roma and the island of Murano, with only one stop at Ferrovia.
Runs every 30 minutes, starting from 6:20 AM till 6:10 PM on Sunday, and till 7:50 AM Monday through Saturday.

Line 4.1
From Murano, the Vaporetto reaches Cemetery Island, followed by Venice Fondamente Nove. From here, line 4.1 takes a counter-clockwise route around Venice, going toward Central Station and Giudecca Island, finally terminating at Murano.
Operational from 6:30 AM to 11:22 PM every day, with departures every 20 minutes. The last departure from Fondamente Nove is at 11:22 PM.

Line 4.2
From Murano, the Vaporetto goes to Cemetery Island and the Venice Fondamente Nove. From here, it moves clockwise toward the Hospital and San Marco. Also known as Vaporetto 42, this line continues toward Cemetery Island and docks at Murano.
Operational from 6 AM to 11 PM everyday, with departures every 20 minutes.

Line 5.1
This line goes counter-clockwise around Venice, and stops at destinations such as Guglie, Piazzale Roma, Ferrovia, San Marco, and terminates at Lido.
Between 5 AM and 11 PM everyday, in intervals of 20 minutes.

Line 5.2
Similar to that of 5.1, however this line covers its journey around Venice clockwise. It starts at Lido and moves toward San Marco.

Starts at the bus station Piazzale Roma and covers tourist destinations such as Zattere, and Giardini della Biennale before terminating at Lido.
Line 6 runs every day of the week, except Sunday between 6:20 AM and 8:20 PM, in intervals of 20 minutes. The last departure from Piazzale Roma is at 7.20 PM and the last departure from Lido is at 8.20 PM.

Runs from South to North Venice, originating from San Marco San Zaccaria to the island of Murano and back.
This line is seasonal, and non-functional from November to April. During the season, it runs every 30 minutes from 10:14 AM to 4:14 PM daily.

Runs from Sacca Fisola, stopping at Giudecca, Giardini, Lido San Nicolo, and back.
This line is seasonal, and non-functional from November to April. The line runs every 30 minutes from San Fisola between 8:15 AM to 10.45 AM on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays only. The return line runs from Lido every 30 minutes between 5:09 PM to 7:39 PM on the same days.

This Venice water bus line connects Burano and Torcello.
Operates from 9:30 AM to 5:45 PM everyday, with a frequency of once every 15 minutes. The last ride from Torcello to Burano departs at 5.55 PM.

This line starts and ends at the island of Lido. It stops at Giardini, San Marco and Zattere along the way.
Operational from Monday to Saturday, with the first water bus departing from Lido at 7:13 AM and the last bus from Zattere at 2:24 PM. This line has a frequency of once every 30 minutes.

Line 11
This line from Lido to Chioggia combines a Vaporetto and bus journey for its passengers. At the Santa Maria Elisabetta (SME) stop, you will have to embark on a bus to cross the island of Lido, and cover the rest of the journey to Chioggia via Vaporetto.
Runs every 60 minutes between 12:25 AM - 5:50 AM, and 8:30 PM - 11:25 PM. It runs more frequently every 30 minutes between 5:50 AM - 8:30 PM. The 12.25 AM ride only occurs on Saturday and Sunday nights, and the night of a holiday.

This line connects Fondamente Nove to Punta Sabbioni, with stops at Murano, Mazzorbo, Torcello, Burano and Treporti along the way.
Runs once every 30 minutes between 4:20 AM - 10:25 PM. The last ride from Punta Sabbioni is at 11:40 PM.

Connects Fondamente Nove to Trepoti, via Murano, the Le Vignole islands, Lazzaretto Nuovo and Sant'Erasmo.
Runs once every 50 minutes from Fondamente Nove, between 4:50 AM to 10:40 PM every day. The last ride from Trepoti is at 11:40 PM.

Connects Burano with Venice, via destinations including Punta Sabbioni and Lido.
Runs once every 30 minutes from 5 AM to 11 PM everyday. The frequency of departures reduces for the night water buses, with the Vaporetto departing once every hour.

This is a direct line from San Zaccaria to Punta Sabbioni and back.
This line runs from San Zaccaria between 1:15 PM to 6:44 PM on weekdays. The lines run from Punta Sabbioni from 6:30 AM to 5:55 PM on weekdays.

Direct line from Fusina to Zattere in Venice and back.
Runs from Fusina between 8 AM to 8 PM, and from Venice between 8:30 AM to 8:30 PM. The first 8 AM and 8.30 AM departures do not operate on Sunday.
